Community Kitchen — Can you help cook, clean, or deliver meals? We’d love to have you join us any Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.
Eastside Meals on Wheels — Pick up and deliver meals! Select the amount of time you’d like to commit: one day per week, once a month, or twice a month, etc. They provide delivery training and help in learning the route.
East Side Neighborhood Services — They are looking for volunteers to help with packing boxes at the food warehouse on Mondays and produce distribution on Wednesdays.
The Food Group — Help pack and sort emergency food in the warehouse – multiple shifts available per day, 5 days a week. Volunteers are also needed Sundays during summer and fall to help collect surplus food at the Minneapolis Farmers Market.
Friends of Dorothy Day — Volunteers are responsible for serving a nightly meal on Higher Ground’s 2nd floor. volunteers are responsible for serving a nightly meal on Higher Ground’s 2nd floor.
Justice Frontline Aid — They are committed to providing aid, resources, and education to those who put their bodies on the frontlines in the fight for justice. They need office support, supply hand-out work, marshal support, and first aid support.
Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly – Connects program participants and caring volunteers from the community through phone companionship, drop-in chat lines, social activities and holiday celebrations.
Mobile Loaves Twin Cities — Volunteers help prepare meals and supplies (gloves, socks, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) to be delivered to community members all over the metro area.
