Eastside Meals on Wheels — Pick up and deliver meals! Select the amount of time you’d like to commit: one day per week, once a month, or twice a month, etc. They provide delivery training and help in learning the route.
East Side Neighborhood Services — They are looking for volunteers to help with packing boxes at the food warehouse on Mondays and produce distribution on Wednesdays.
The Food Group — Help pack and sort emergency food in the warehouse – multiple shifts available per day, 5 days a week. Volunteers are also needed Sundays during summer and fall to help collect surplus food at the Minneapolis Farmers Market.
Friends & Co — Friends & Co has served older adults in Minnesota for over 50 years. We foster meaningful connections for older adults. We offer a quick drop-in chat line, phone companionship, and visiting companionship services, something for everyone. We have volunteer opportunities for the following: Coffee Talkers, Visiting Companions, Phone Companions, and Skills-Based Community Ambassadors.
