Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Twin Cities Mutual Aid Project!
Before you sign up, please take a moment and make sure you can commit and be available for the work. These maps are only as good as the information we are getting from our volunteers. Volunteers who miss shifts or attempt to multitask during shifts make it harder for us to help the community.
There are many volunteer opportunities available right now, and not all of them are a good fit for everyone. If you are already involved with another volunteer effort and this will pull you in a lot of different directions, this is probably not the group for you. If you are looking for somewhere to plug into with all of your heart and energy, this might be a perfect fit.
If you’ve read the FAQ and you’re interested in being a part of TCMAP, you can find our volunteer interest form here.
If you don’t think you’re able to get involved with us right now but would still like to spread the word about our Mutual Aid Map, download some flyers and put them up in places you think folks who’d like to give/receive aid will see them!
Finally, we recognize that the BIPOC community has been overburdened with the demands of this time, and also want to specifically encourage anyone who identifies as BIPOC and wishes to become involved to directly email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
