Hennepin County Severe Cold Warming Options – List of places that can provide relief from the severe cold. Warming sites across Hennepin County are located at libraries, community centers, government buildings, and more. If you visit a Hennepin County building, you may be required to wear a face covering over your mouth and nose.
Ramsey County Winter Warming Spaces – Open nightly through February 28, 2023: 9:30pm – 6:30am.
If you are in need of, or would like to refer someone to a warm space to sleep at night, call 651-266-1050 or email ColdWeatherReferrals@ramseycounty.us.
Ramsey County staff are available from 5pm to 1am to help refer people to the nearest warming space or extra available shelter beds. When temperatures reach zero degrees or below and/or when windchill reaches -15 or below, additional local shelter beds or warming spaces may become available.
